Palmerton police log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Driving under suspension: Stephen Susel, 50, Palmerton, was charged with two counts of driving under suspension, drivers required to be licensed, and windshield obstructions and wipers, for an incident April 23 in the 100 block of Franklin Avenue.

Maximum gross weight: Gustavo Maranjo, 27, Dover, New Jersey; Julio Santos-Costa, 61, Kearny, New Jersey; Scott Borchers, 42, Milford; and Hernando Russi, 48, Landing, New Jersey, were cited for maximum gross weight, for an incident April 24 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Bryon Pesantez, 34, Belleville, New Jersey, was charged with maximum gross weight and securing loads in vehicles; for an incident April 24 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Scott Borchers, 42, Milford, was charged with maximum gross weight, for an incident April 24 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Raymond Bear, 62, Breinigsville, was charged with maximum gross weight, for an incident April 26 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued five citations for speeding, three for traffic violations, and one for vehicle violation.
