Palmerton police log

Palmerton Police Department recently reported the following incidents:

Disorderly conduct: Stephen Meleschuk, 60, Allentown, was charged with defiant trespass, two counts of disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness, for an incident Oct. 18 in the 800 block of Delaware Avenue.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Makenzie Lashefsky, 21, Palmerton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident Oct. 7 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.

Junking of vehicles prohibited: Ward Willis, 49, Palmerton, was charged with junking of vehicles prohibited, for an incident Oct. 8 in the 300 block of Alley A.

Maximum axle weight: Jorge Garcia Jr., 41, Elizabeth, New Jersey, was charged for an incident Oct. 30 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued four citations for vehicle violations, four for speeding and two for traffic violations.
