Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

DUI: Samantha Springer, 31, Effort, was charged with two counts, along with one count each of registration and certificate of title required and driving violations for an incident Dec. 20 on Third Street.

Citations: Police also issued five citations for speeding, three for vehicle violations, and one for traffic violation.
