Palmerton Police log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

DUI: William Santiago, Lehighton, was charged with four counts of DUI; three counts of driving under suspension; careless driving; and general lighting requirements, for an incident Feb. 10 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.

• Darin Murphy, 53, Albrightsville, was charged with three counts of DUI; possession of a small amount of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and general lighting requirements, for an incident Jan. 31 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.

• Jeremy Palmer, 39, Slatington, was charged with three counts of DUI; careless driving; and traffic violations, for an incident Feb. 1 on Route 248 east.

• Joseph Visnosky IV, 21, Palmerton, was charged with two counts of DUI, for an incident Jan. 3 at Fifth Street and Alley E.

• Trish Hargrave, 25, Palmerton, was charged with DUI; driving under suspension; drivers required to be licensed; and general lighting requirements, for an incident Feb. 18 on Route 248 east.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Zachary Wentz, 20, Bowmanstown, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and general lighting requirements, for an incident Feb. 10 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.

Maximum axle weight: Angel Veintimilla-Berna, 44, Newark, New Jersey, was charged for an incident March 5 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Junking of vehicles prohibited: Joanne Guth, 72, Palmerton, and Jorge Diaz, 49, Allentown, was charged for an incident March 2 in the 500 block of Lehigh Avenue and the 600 block of Franklin Avenue.

Citations: Police also issued three citations for speeding, two for vehicle violations and one traffic violation.
