Palmerton police report

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

DUI: Tiffany Hittner, 35, Palmerton, was charged with DUI, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, persistent disorderly conduct, disorderly conduct, texting while driving, careless driving, driving on right side of roadway and reckless driving, for an incident Feb. 3 in the 400 block of Franklin Avenue.

Retail theft: Zoey Bartenope, 20, Lehighton, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, for an incident July 20 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Citations: Police also issued two citations for vehicle violations and one for speeding.
