Palmerton police report

Palmerton Police Department reported on the following incidents:

Criminal conspiracy: Juvenile referrals were filed against two 14-year-old Palmerton boys for theft and criminal conspiracy, for an incident April 5 in the 300 block of Avenue A.

Maximum gross weight: Charged with maximum gross weight were Hernando Russi, 48, of Landing, New Jersey; Jose Garcia, 33, of Flanders, New Jersey; and James Sloane Jr., 53, Budd Lake, New Jersey, for incidents on April 9 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road; Simarij Lubhana, 27, Hackettstown, New Jersey; Caleb Burd, 38, Allentown, and Lloyd Drummond-James, 39, Wharton, New Jersey, for incidents on April 11 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road; and Lubhana again on April 11 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued eight citations for vehicle violations, three for traffic violations, and one for speeding.
