Palmerton releases end of school year schedule

The Palmerton Area School District has announced the following details and schedule information for the final days of the 2017-18 school year:

• Monday, June 11: Graduation at 7 p.m. at Penn’s Peak.

• Tuesday, June 12: Last day breakfast and lunch will be served.

• Wednesday, June 13: Early dismissal.

• Thursday, June 14: Last day for students. Early dismissal.

Secondary students (grades 7-12) will have early dismissal at 11 a.m.

Elementary students (grades K-6) will have early dismissal at 11:45 a.m.

• Friday, June 15: Teacher in-service (no school for students).

Palmerton Carbon Career & Technical Institute students follow the CCTI schedule, which is graduation at 7 p.m. Friday, June 8, at Jim Thorpe Area High School.
