Palmerton Area High School players from the girls soccer league pose for a photo last week in the Palmerton Food Pantry at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The girls had just finished presenting the pantry with food donations and a $275 check, all raised through the annual benefit game against Lehighton High School held earlier this month. “I can’t thank you enough for this,” Ken Kaiser, who co-chairs the pantry alongside Barbara Brader, told the teenage team. Front row, from left, are Kaylee Schleicher, Alexis Sook and Katie Thompson. Second row, from left, are Emilie Peterson, Julia Finley, Lauren Rehrig, Hannah Serfass, Taylor Smith and Megan Green. Third row, from left, are Zoe Salter, Aliya DeKorte, Emma Martinez, Carissa Fallon and Isabella Mujevic. DANIELLE DERRICKSON/TIMES NEWS
