Palmerton student brought knife to school
A student at the Palmerton Area High School will be charged in Carbon County District Court with possession of a weapon on school property.
State police at Lehighton said they were summoned to the school off Fireline Road in Lower Towamensing Township at 7:45 a.m. May 29 after it was discovered the student had a pocket knife in his/her possession.
