St. Joseph Blood drive
St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley will host a Miller-Keystone blood drive from 1-6 p.m. on Aug. 13 in the Rev. James Burdess Social Hall.

Senior Center
The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Aug. 12-16 is:
Monday: Vegetable soup, cheeseburger, potato salad, mixed berries
Tuesday: Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, carrots, Jello or Greek salad with chicken
Wednesday: Asian barbecue turkey, brown rice, Asian vegetables, fruit salad or Reuben sandwich
Thursday: Chicken pot pie, red potatoes, green beans, pineapple or spinach salad with bacon
Friday: Center closed
The Panther Valley Senior Center has announced upcoming events for Aug. 12-16.
Nickel-Keeno on Aug. 12 at 11 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on Aug. 13 at 10:45 a.m.; Yahtzee on Aug. 14 at 11 a.m.; Trivia on Aug. 15 at 11 a.m.; Picnic at Jim Thorpe Memorial Park on Aug. 16 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Golden Agers
The scheduled meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers will be held on Monday at St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Church Social Hall beginning at 1 p.m.
The guest speaker for this meeting will be from Diakon regarding therapy.
The group meets every second and third Monday.
