Senior Center
The Panther Valley Senior Center has announced the menu for June 25 to 29.
Monday: Baked ham, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts or turkey Swiss wrap
Tuesday: Chicken tortellini soup, turkey salad sandwich and beet salad
Wednesday: Stir fry beef and broccoli with Asian noodles or turkey hoagie
Thursday: Chicken and sausage bake and brown rice or tuna sandwich
Friday: Roast pork and mashed potatoes or chicken bacon ranch sandwich

Golden Agers
The June 11 meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers was attended by 28 members. The meeting started by singing “God Bless America” and saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
A new member, Joyce Krell from Tamaqua, was introduced and welcomed. Dues for the year 2018 can be collected at any meeting. Meetings are held every second and fourth Monday of the month.
The next meeting will be Monday at St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Church Social Hall beginning at 1 p.m. Names will be collected for anyone wishing to attend the indoor Picnic and Chinese Auction on July 9.
