The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for March 16-20 is:
Monday: Ham & potato soup, cheeseburger, coleslaw, melon
Tuesday: Ham, cabbage, potatoes, cookie or beef and spinach sandwich
Wednesday: Chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, mixed pears or sesame ginger tuna salad
Thursday: Barbecue pork patty, sweet potatoes, green beans, cottage cheese with fruit or harvest salad with chicken
Friday: Egg and cheese bake, diced potatoes, peppers and onions, melon or deli club sandwich
The Panther Valley Senior Center has announced upcoming events for March 16-27.
Poker-Keeno on March 16 at 11 a.m.; St. Patrick’s Day Party on March 17 at 11 a.m.; Penny Game on March 18 at 11 a.m.; Senior Game Practice on March 19 at 10 a.m.; Bingo on March 20 at 10:45 a.m.
Bingo on March 23 at 10:45 a.m.; Program on Nutrition by Rachael Wydra from the Department of Health on March 24 at 11 a.m.; Make Your Own Sundae after Lunch on March 25; Red Cross Presents Fire Safety and Information on Free Smoke Detector Installation on March 26 at 11 a.m., Movie and Pizza on March 27 at 10 a.m.
Upcoming trips: Sights and Sounds June 25 to see the Queen Esther Show.

Public library story hour
The Panther Valley Public Library will be holding preschool story hour Tuesdays at 10 a.m. through May 19.
The program is open to children ages 3-5. Children will enjoy a story, do a craft and have a snack.

Meed’s Memorial
Meed’s Memorial United Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St., has announced the following schedule at the church.
Sunday services will be held at 11 a.m. Nursery and children’s Sunday school are available during the service.
The church also hosts a clothing ministry from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
The next community dinner at the church will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on March 25.
