Parryville man jailed on felony, drug charges

State police at the Lehighton barracks took a Parryville man into custody on a felony warrant at 1:35 p.m. Nov. 27, when they observed suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia in plain view.

Police said they picked up Matthew Wentz, 38, in the unit block of Sassafras Lane, after which time they observed the suspected drugs.

Wentz was committed to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning, where he is awaiting arraignment on the drug possession charges.
