Pocono arts council announces winners

The Pocono Arts Council announced the winning entries in the 25 annual juried student exhibition. The show featured work by 40 students with the following local students receiving awards.

Two Pleasant Valley High School students were honored in the exhibition.

Amelia Plis received third place in the 2-D works category.

Chaiphat Sungkarungsi received an honorable mention in the competition.

An artists’ reception and awards ceremony was held Feb. 2 to honor the winners.
