Police called for teen smoking on school bus

Lehighton state police were summoned at 2:59 p.m. Friday to the intersection of Route 903 and Maury Road in Penn Forest Township, when it was reported to them that a 14-year-old boy from Jim Thorpe was smoking pot on a school bus.

Upon further investigation, it was determined the boy was smoking a cigarette and not any type of drug.

Charges will be filed.
