Police investigate harassment cases

State police investigated the following harassment cases:

• Timothy Smith, 28, of Brodheadsville, is facing charges of harassment filed by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks after an incident at 1:54 p.m. April 4 at the intersection of Frantz and Chestnut roads in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said he struck a woman, causing an injury, then ran from the scene.

• A Kunkletown couple has been cited for harassment after they pushed and shoved each other during an argument.

State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred at 5:26 p.m. April 16 at a residence on Saddle Lane, Towamensing Township.

During the investigation, it was discovered both husband and wife pushed and shoved each other during an argument.

Jamie Tracy, 50, and Jonice Tracy, 44, were cited.
