Police investigate pedestrian struck by van

A pedestrian was struck by a van Friday morning in Lehighton. The incident occurred as the male, a nearby store manager, was walking across a lot en route to get a cup of coffee when he was struck. The victim was treated at the scene for head injuries by Lehighton paramedics, before being transported to a trauma center. Lehighton police are investigating the incident.
