Police investigate Schuylkill crash

State police at Frackville reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 9:17 p.m. on Monday along Moss Glenn Road in Schuylkill Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Lacey R. Scouton, 29, of Orwigsburg, was operating a 2011 GMC Terrain southbound when she observed another vehicle going northbound with high beams on causing her to become disoriented. The GMC left the road and struck a tree along the berm.

Scouton and her passenger, Victoria W. Higgins, 22, also of Orwigsburg, were not injured. The Terrain was towed. She was cited for not having a valid registration.
