Police investigating prowling in Butler Township

State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating prowling incidents that have occurred around a residence in Locustdale, Butler Township.

Police said a resident of that area reported an unknown man, about 6 feet tall with a thin build and wearing blue jeans, a hoodie and a ball cap, was heard and seen walking around the backyard of the residence at 4:30 a.m. Monday. Police said the man fled the scene when he realized the victim had left the home.

Police said the victim reported similar incidents have occurred in the early morning hours on two other occasions.
