Police looking for hit-and-run driver
State police at Frackville are looking for a hit-and-run driver who caused damages to trees and an irrigation system at a tree farm in Schuylkill County.
Troopers said sometime overnight of Sunday into Monday, a vehicle was driven eastbound on West Rausch’s Road in East Brunswick Township.
While approaching a tight right-hand turn that intersects with Big Oak Lane, the driver was unable to negotiate the turn. The vehicle left the road on the left side and knocked down multiple trees at the J.C. Hill Tree Farm before the driver fled the scene.
Damages were also noted to an irrigation system on the farm. Damages were estimated at $2,000.
