Police looking to question male in overdose death investigation

State Police at Fern Ridge are looking for a person in connection with a drug overdose death Wednesday in Effort.

Police responded to a home in the 1200 block of Lyndsey Lane just after 10:30 a.m. for an unresponsive female.

The 23-year-old Effort female was found to be deceased. Police said suspected heroin packets stamped “party time” and “apple”, hypodermic needles, and drug paraphernalia were removed from the home.

Richard T. Shinski, who was at the residence, left before the arrival of police. Shinski is wanted out of Lehigh County and for questioning in the overdose death investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
