Police: Man drove tractor on woman's lawn

A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred between 8 and 9 a.m. Wednesday.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred on a property of a 47-year-old woman from Schuylkill Haven and is a strip of grassy land along the west berm of Detroiter Avenue in North Manheim Township, not far from Route 61. Troopers said Mark Geil, 61, of Schuylkill Haven, drove his tractor on the property, moving a large log from the west side of the lot to the east side of the lot. Geil had been warned on July 9, troopers said, not to trespass on the property after committing a criminal mischief incident.

Troopers charged Geil with defiant trespass.
