Police report domestic violations
Tamaqua police released information on two domestic disturbances.
Amber Volovski, 34, of Jim Thorpe, was charged with harassment after an argument on Oct. 9 ended with her kneeing her ex-boyfriend in the groin. The victim also had several red marks on his face.
She told police she only used her knee after her ex tried to prevent her from leaving his house.
David McMahon, 55, of Cedar Street, Tamaqua, was charged with indirect contempt of court for violating a protection from abuse order on Nov. 7. The victim was in a Tamaqua bank branch when McMahon confronted her. He had been notified of the PFA on Oct. 31.
