Polk traffic stop nets drunken driver
State police at the Lehighton barracks said the operator of a vehicle they stopped for a traffic violation will face charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The 1999 Ford was stopped at the intersection of Dorshimer and Burger Hollow roads in Polk Township, after which time the officer determined an odor of alcohol was emanating from the operator, who will be charged accordingly.
Police did not release the person’s name.
