Put a lid on the nonsense

The sex scandals headlining the news in Washington are perfectly ridiculous. Who cares what these politicians did in their leisure hours 30 or 40 years ago? It’s the ultimate waste of precious time, pointing nasty fingers to the older men in Congress and the Senate, as to who slept with whom, as far back as the last century.

This is a new millennium since we’re in the 21st century, it’s time these elected politicians get their act together and concentrate on the major problems facing our beloved America. These senseless, immaterial allegations are a joke! These disgusting women coming forth with their allegations and, no doubt, lies, claiming they had affairs with the involved political big shots sound like frauds.

Even if the allegations are true, why bring these sordid stories to light after umpteen years. These women are hoping to gain a fat check of a monstrous figure. The payoff boils down to “blackmail.” What else would you call it? These ladies ought to be ashamed to even admit they had affairs with men of higher status. Our current troubles are far more emergencies than these behind-the-bedroom-door sexual encounters taking place eons ago. Who actually gives a damn?

It must be a good feeling to lie, cheat and enjoy spending money that ruined a politician’s career in Washington. Even President Donald Trump’s extracurricular affairs years ago have been questioned by Congress. Let our commander in chief do his sterling job as he has, thus far, proven to those who voted him into office.

These ignoble women are hoping to bring home a purse full of gold to live like millionaires for the remainder of their guilty lives! Throw them to the wolves! It’s an era full of faked deception everywhere you look. Put a lid on all this nonsense and get on with ultraserious problems facing our nation. God bless America and the innocent (?) political leaders.
