Railway society to host train display in Weatherly

The Pocono Mountain Garden Railway Society will host a train display in Weatherly on Saturday and Sunday.

The group will set up a G Scale Modular Train layout at the Eurana Park Pavillion from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The society is generally based out of western New Jersey. These trains are larger then the Lionel trains.

Also on display will be a G scale models of the last passenger trains that ran between Hazleton and Lehighton. These were the Lehigh Valley Silver Budd Cars. They will be either on display or operating on the railroad.

This is a children friendly event. Bring your camera. Donations are appreciated. Admission is Free.
