Re-elect incumbents

On Tuesday, Nov. 7, we will be voting for members of the Lehighton Area School Board. You may not agree with all of the decisions made by the present board, but the present incumbents have worked hard to make the best decisions in the best interest of our children.

These decisions are not easy. Much time and research is put into each project. The school district attorney and the financial adviser researches each motion before it is presented and voted on. There are federal, state and local laws and guidelines that must be followed.

We are a very fortunate district to have administrators and board members who diligently work to promote our district. Our business administrator works to secure grants and low-interest loans to help our district to balance the budget while giving the best education possible.

Our district has administrators, school board and teachers who work together in a positive manner toward the best education for our children while balancing the budget without laying off staff and program cuts.

Vote for Gloria Bowman, Duane Eidem, Stephen Holland and Larry Stern for school board.
