“Seeing all of our students participate in the different activities. Also, the amount of donations the students and families gave to help Family Promise.”

“Give Drugs The Boot Day,” which was on Monday. We all wore boots. It was great to see everyone excited. I was also happy for all the money coming in from Family Promise.”

“My favorite part was how much money was collected for Family Promise. At one point, we were over $200.”

“There were a lot of people who didn’t just give one time to Family Promise one time. They donated multiple times throughout the week and that is what I liked to see.”

“We gave out pins and ribbons at the beginning of the week and I liked seeing all of the students wearing them. It sent a schoolwide message to stay away from drugs.”

“I enjoyed tie-dye day and the boot day where we gave drugs the boot.”
Last week, schools across the nation celebrated Red Ribbon Week to promote positive choices and a healthy lifestyle free of drugs, alcohol and tobacco use. Towamensing Elementary also held a fundraiser for Family Promise.
