Red Cross Bloodmobile to visit Tamaqua

An American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be held in Tamaqua on April 17 at the Tamaqua YMCA. Hours will be from 1-6 p.m.

Anyone 17 or older, weighing at least 110 pounds and in good general health is eligible to donate blood.

Walk ins are welcome but donors may make an appointment by calling 800-RED-CROSS. The donation process can also be sped up by visiting www.redcrossblood.org/rapid pass to complete the pre-donation reading and health history before going to the Y on April 17.

The Y is located at 1201 E. Broad St., Tamaqua.
