Registrations still being accepted for Girardville Parade
The Girardville Saint Patrick’s Parade Committee is still accepting registrations for floats, vendors and participants for the 16th Annual Girardville Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, which begins at noon Saturday.
The giant parade will feature several divisions and at least 11 bands with numerous additional floats, antique vehicles and special entries. The theme of this year’s parade is the “Salute to the Girardville Good Times Club.”
The grand marshals for the 2019 parade are longtime members of the Girardville Good Times Club, supporters of civic and youth activities in Girardville for many years.
Official 2019 parade T-shirts and 2019 parade books will be available in front of the Hibernian House on parade day.
Parade Day activities begin at 10 a.m. with an Irish Mass at Saint Vincent’s Worship Center at Second and C streets in Girardville. An outdoor celebration will follow the parade at the Hibernian House at Beech and Line streets in the borough.
