The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, weather permitting.
Carbon County
Bowmanstown: Banks Street between White Street and Route 895, deck repair with flaggers Monday and Tuesday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Route 895 between East Kittatinny and Bank Street, deck repair with flaggers Wednesday and Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Kidder Township: Route 534 between Route 940 and River Road, pothole patching, use caution Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Penn Forest Township: Hatchery Road between Route 903 and Pohopoco Drive, ditch cleaning Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monroe County
Hamilton Township: Route 33 between Hamilton East and Route 611, lane restrictions with delays Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Stroud/Hamilton Township: Route 209 between Route 33 and Interstate 80, lane restrictions with delays Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Schuylkill County
Tamaqua Borough: Route 209 between West Cottage Avenue and Patterson Street, lane restrictions, expect delays Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Mahanoy/Ryan/Rush Township: Route 54, daytime lane restrictions, use caution Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
