Road Work this week

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, weather permitting:

Carbon County

• Jim Thorpe Borough: Route 209 between River Street and Broadway, lane restrictions with delays Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Kidder Township: Route 534 between Tannery Road and Sand Spring Road, lane restrictions with delays Wednesday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Mahoning: Route 209 between Packerton Road and Beaver Drive, lane restrictions with delays Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Nesquehoning Borough: Route 54 between Route 209 and the Schuylkill County line, lane restrictions with delays, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Penn Forest Township: Hatchery/Penn Forest Road between Route 903 and Pohopoco daytime closures with detours and restrictions Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Towamensing/Penn Forest townships: Hatchery Road between Koch Road and Faust Road, lane restrictions with delays, Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Towamensing Township: Route 209 between Monroe County Line and Sei Pike Lane, lane restrictions with delays, Wednesday-Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Preachers Camp Drive between Route 209 and Preachers Camp Boat Dock, lane restrictions with delays, Monday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lehigh County

• Whitehall Township: Route 145/MacArthur Road North between Mickley Road and Clearview Road, lane restrictions, today through Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• North Whitehall Township: Route 145 between Clearview Road and Route 329, Thursday and Friday between 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Interstate 78 East: between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 60 (Route 309), Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Monroe County

• Polk Township: Route 534 between Holly Lane and Jonas Road, lane restrictions with delays Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Hamilton Township: Route 33 between Route 209 and Route 611, lane restrictions between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; Route 33 between Route 209 and Northampton County line, lane restrictions between 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

• Ross and Chestnuthill Townships: Weir Lake Road between Route 209 and Kunkletown Road, lane restrictions today through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Hamilton Township: Route 33 South between Saylorsburg and Wind Gap, lane restrictions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

Northampton County

• Lehigh Township: Route 145 between Lehigh Drive and Blue Mountain Drive, lane restrictions, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and Tuesday.

Schuylkill County

• Ryan/Schuylkill Townships: Tuscarora Mountain Drive between Foothill Street and Chestnut Street, lane restrictions with delays Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Butler/New Castle Townships: Interstate 81 North, Exit 119 (Highridge Park Road) and Exit 124 (Route 611), lane restriction from 7 p.m. Sunday to noon Friday, expect delays; I-80 South, between Exit 124 and Exit 119, lane restriction from 10 p.m. Sunday to noon Friday, expect delays and use caution.

• Butler/New Castle Townships: Interstate 81 South, Exit 124 (Route 61) and Exit 119 (Highridge Park Road), lane restriction through noon Friday, expect delays and use caution.
