The following road work is planned this week, weather permitting:

Carbon County

• Penn Forest and Towamensing Townships: Hatchery Road between Route 903 and Trachsville Hill Road, expect daytime lane restriction from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. through Friday.

• Lower Towamensing, Parryville and Bowmanstown: Route 248 between Route 209 and Northampton County line, expect daytime lane restriction and use caution from 7 a.m. -3 p.m. through Thursday.

• Mahoning Township: Route 443 (Blakeslee Boulevard) between 9th Street and Schuylkill County line, expect daytime lane restriction for pothole patching from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Friday.

• Mahoning Township and Summit Hill: Route 902 (Mahoning Drive and Spring Garden Street) between Water Street and Mahoning Drive, expect lane restriction and expect delays from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Friday.

Lehigh County

• Bethlehem: Route 378 between Route 22 and 8th Avenue, expect daytime lane restriction for brush cutting from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. through Friday.

• Allentown: American Parkway between Union Street and Fullerton Avenue, expect daytime moving operation and watch for stopped traffic from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. through Friday.

• Bethlehem: Route 378 (Main Street) between 3rd Avenue and Route 22, expect daytime shoulder restriction from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. through Friday.

• Washington Township: Best Station Road between Route 873 and Mill Road, expect daytime lane restrictions from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. through Friday.

• Allentown: Route 145 (Fourth Street) between Route 309 and Emmaus Avenue, expect daytime lane restrictions from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. through Friday.

Monroe County

• Stroudsburg Township: Route 209 between Interstate 80 and Shafers Schoolhouse Road, expect nighttime lane restrictions and delays from 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. through Friday.

• Hamilton Township: Hamilton East and South Road between Route 115 and Route 209, expect daytime lane restriction from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. through Tuesday.

• Eldred Township: Smith Gap Road between Chestnut Ridge Road and Carbon County line, expect daytime lane restrictions for tree cutting from 9 a.m. -3 p.m. through Friday.

• Polk Township: Route 534 between Route 209 and Carbon County Line, expect daytime lane restrictions and use caution from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. through Friday.

Schuylkill County

• Delano Township: Interstate 81 between Exit 134 (Delano) and Exit 138 (Route 309), expect daytime lane restriction for median barrier repair from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Wednesday.

• West Penn Township: Route 309 between Clamtown Road and East Penn Drive, expect daytime lane restrictions from 7 a.m. -3 p.m. through Friday.

• Rush and Ryan townships: Route 54 between Morea Road and Tippets Road, expect daytime lane restriction for pothole patching from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. through Friday.

• Ryan and Mahanoy Townships: Interstate 81 between Exit 124 (Route 61) and Exit 131 (Route 54), expect daytime lane restriction from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. through Thursday.
