Road work: Week of Oct. 21

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following roadwork for this week, weather permitting:

Carbon County

• Mahoning Township: Mahoning Drive between Route 902 and County Line, milling and paving, lane restrictions with flagging, expect delays and use caution, Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Mahoning Township: Church Hill Road between Fritz Valley Road and Ben Salem Road, milling and paving, lane restrictions with flagging, expect delays and use caution, Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Packer Township and Weatherly Borough: Brenkman Drive/Hudsondale Street between Route 93 and Plane Street/Main Street, milling and paving, lane restrictions with flagging, expect delays and use caution, Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Packer Township and Weatherly Borough: Packer Drive/West Main Street between Route 93 and Plane Street, milling and paving, lane restrictions with flagging, expect delays and use caution, Wednesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Lower Towamensing Township: Lower Smith Gap Road between Blue Mountain Drive and Covered Bridge Road, drainage, lane restrictions with flagging, expect delays and use caution, Monday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lehigh County

• Lehigh and Washington Townships: Route 873 between Main Street and Route 248, inspection, lane restrictions with flagging, expect delays and use caution, Monday and Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Northampton County

• Easton: Route 22 at 13th Street, between Route 248 and 4th Street, bridge repair, Lane restriction in both directions for bridge repair work to the 13th Street Structure over Route 22, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Bethlehem Township: Route 33 between Interstate 78 and Freemansburg Avenue, Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the work zone.

Schuylkill

• West Penn Township / Tamaqua: Route 309 between Tamaqua and Route 443, drainage, lane restrictions with flagging, expect delays and use caution, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Kline and Rush townships: Route 309 between Lofty Road and Still Creek Road, milling and paving, lane restrictions, Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Foster Township: Route 81 between exit 112 (Route 25) and exit 119 (Highridge Park Road), pothole patching, lane restriction, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
