Ruptured water line causes disruption

Parts of Hometown were without water for a short time Friday morning due to a ruptured water line.

Residents were without water for about a half-hour as Tamaqua Water Authority worked to fix the line.

The incident occurred when a service line was accidentally broken by a contractor.
