Rush Twp. police host 5K walk/run

Rush Township police department is hosting the Inaugural 5K run/walk to benefit the Rush Township recreation department. The event will take place on Oct. 27 (rain date Oct. 28) beginning at noon at the Hometown Farmers Market, 125 Mahanoy Ave., Tamaqua.

Prizes will be awarded for each age group. T-shirts for preregistrants only. Preregistration deadline is Oct. 10, $20 entry fee. There is a registration fee of $25 after that date.
