Ground crews at the Tamaqua Area School District painted a large number 6 in the end zones of the Tamaqua Area Sports Stadium Wednesday in support of Jaden Leiby, the senior quarterback of the North Schuylkill High School football team who suffered a broken neck during a game on Friday. Tamaqua will use the field Friday, hosting a semifinal playoff game against Notre Dame-Green Pond. It’s possible Tamaqua and North Schuylkill could play each other once again this year. DONALD R.
