Schellhammer signs with Lock Haven

Tamaqua senior Jada Schellhammer (seated, center) signs letter of intent to attend Division 2 Lock Haven University. Schellhammer will play softball and major in physical education and health.

She was a four-year letterwinner for the Raiders and a two-time All-State selection as a pitcher. Seated next to Jada are her parents, Troy and Trina Schellhammer.

Also taking part in the signing ceremony are, standing, from left, Jada’s brother Joel Schellhammer, a sophomore at Tamaqua High School, Tamaqua assistant coach Heather Natt, head coach Jillian Barron, high school principal Thomas McCabe, and athletic director Mike Hromyak.
