Pleasant Valley posted an impressive win over Bethlehem Catholic in boys tennis action on Monday.
The Palmerton boys tennis team also was victorious against Wilson.

Josh Schaffner and Jake Ammermann posted victories at Nos. 1 and 2 singles for the Bears, who also swept the four doubles matches.

Ashlee Wood led the Warriors with a double, triple and three RBIs, while Ashley Errico finished with two singles and two runs scored.
Paige Shupp sparked the Blue Bombers (0-1) with a grand slam in the fourth inning. Baylee Guedes and Madison Wenig both finished with a single and a double.

Rachel Tirjan paced the Buckhorns with two singles, a double, two runs scored and an RBI, while Rebecca Pizzo added a single, a triple, two runs scored and an RBI.
The Bears’ only hits came from Janelle Frable and Meara Hanyon, while Skyler Jennings and Lauren Steckel scored PV’s two runs.

Two Schuylkill Haven pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter against Jim Thorpe in a 5-0 victory.
Brendon Schaeffer tossed the first six innings for the Hurricanes, while Austin Clouser completed the gem in the seventh.
Schaeffer, who struck out 13 batters and walked just one, also helped his own cause with two hits at the plate.
