Schuykill County personnel

During a meeting Wednesday, the Schuylkill County Commissioners approved three people, plus one alternate, to serve on the county’s Assessment Appeals board: Francis A. Spokas, Tamaqua; Richard Finnefrock, Orwigsburg; and John J. Houseknecht, St. Clair. The alternate is Mike Wozniski, Pottsville.

The commissioners also chose three people to represent them on the Board of Elections Court as appointed members. Each commissioner chose one person. Chairman George Halcovage chose Jeanne B. Porter, West Brunswick Township; Frank Staudenmeier chose past-commissioner Robert S. Carl Jr.; and Gary Hess chose Mark Scarbinsky, former county administrator.

In other personnel action:

Diane Baddick of Tuscarora, is transferring from secretary, domestic relations, to interim judicial secretary. The transfer is temporary and will end March 15.

Schuylkill County is actively seeking applicants for several law clerk positions.
