Schuylkill County court — ARD
Schuylkill County President Judge William E. Baldwin has accepted three people charged by local police into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program.
The acceptance is not an admission of guilt. If the person successfully completes the program, his or her charges may be expunged.
In addition, all were ordered to pay court costs and fees.
Jacob N. Pester, 22, of Delano, was charged by Kline Township police with driving under the influence, careless driving, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection sticker on Feb. 1.
President Judge William E. Baldwin accepted Pester into ARD for 12 months and ordered him to pay $500 to offset the cost of the program.
He also ordered Pester to perform 10 hours of community service and to complete Alcohol Highway Safety School.
In addition, Baldwin fined Pester $25 each for careless driving and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Crystal Lopez, 27, of Hazleton, was charged by McAdoo police with making false reports and disorderly conduct on Aug. 6, 2017.
Baldwin accepted her into ARD for 12 months and ordered her to pay $350 to offset the cost of the program.
He also ordered Lopez to perform 10 hours of community service.
Anna L. Rush, 63, of New Tripoli, was charged by state police at Schuylkill Haven on March 15 with retail theft.
Baldwin accepted her into ARD for 12 months and ordered her to pay $350 to offset the cost of the program.
He also ordered Rush to perform 10 hours of community service, and to pay $17 restitution.
