A Scranton woman charged by Tamaqua police with drug offenses will spend time in Schuylkill County jail.

Kristin A. Myrtle, 27, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 11, 2015.

She pleaded guilty to the paraphernalia charge, and Judge Charles M. Miller sentenced her to the three days she’d already served to 12 months, with immediate parole.

The marijuana charge was dropped.

Miller also assessed a $50 bench warrant fee, $150 in fines and costs, and ordered her to submit a DNA sample.

Miller also sentenced Crystal D. Koshmeider, 33, of McAdoo to 12 months on probation for a charge of simple assault, committed on Nov. 25, 2017, filed by borough police.

Additional charges of corruption of minors and harassment were dropped.

Miller also sentenced Michael J. Tracy, 32, of Hazleton, to 12 months on probation.

Tracy was charged by McAdoo police with theft and receiving stolen property on Nov. 3, 2017.

In another case, Miller ordered Angela L. Stahl, 47, of Tamaqua, to pay the costs of prosecution and $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account.

Tamaqua police charged Stahl with passing bad checks on Sept. 30, 2017.

Judge James P. Goodman sentenced Francis Carr, 56, of Freeland, Luzerne County, to 72 hours to six months in jail, beginning Oct. 12, on a charge of driving under the influence on July 2, 2016.

The charge was filed by McAdoo police.

Carr was also fined $1,000 and lost his license for one year. After it is returned, he must use ignition interlock for one year.
