The following cases came to court in Schuylkill County.

Vanardi Legrand Jr., 40, Mahanoy City, had failed to appear for a status conference Dec. 11, 2018, and had been picked up on a bench warrant.

On Jan. 14, his bench warrant was dissolved, with bail set at $2,500 unsecured and $10,000 percentage cash bail.

Legrand was arrested March 20, 2018, by Tamaqua Police Department Officer Michael G. Weaver and charged with possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also arrested on May 25, 2018, by Coaldale Police Department Officer Thomas Sabulsky, and charged with possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture, delivery and possession with intent to manufacture or deliver.

According to the terms of his release on bail, Legrand must reside at 624 E. Centre St., Mahanoy City, must not possess or consume alcohol or illegal substances, and seek gainful employment.

Lucas L. Coxe, 39, of McAdoo, had a bench warrant hearing Jan. 14. Bail was set at $2,500 percentage cash bail with conditions. Coxe must reside at a specific McAdoo address, and must not possess or consume alcohol or illegal substances.

Coxe was arrested Oct. 23, 2014, by Rush Township Police Department officer Jeffrey Tanner on charges of DUI: Controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving without a license.
