Two area residents received state prison sentences for incidents in Schuylkill County.

Tyler A. Cimino, 23, was arrested April 14, April 23 and June 22. On April 14 Cimino was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. On April 23 he was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating with valid inspection, speeding, operating unsafe equipment (improper tires). On June 22 he was charged with possession on a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper sunscreen, traffic control device.

Cimino’s state prison sentence is connected with the April 23 arrest, with the sentence of one to three years on the possession with intent to deliver charge. On the additional charges he will serve 12 months on probation and pay fines and costs. On the charges from April 14 and June 22, he will serve 12 months on probation and pay fines and costs. Cimino was arrested by Rush Township officers Frederick Lahovski on April 14, Bradley Hess on April 23 and Ryan Oldt on June 22.

Leah C. Clark, 43, Muncy, will serve nine to 24 months on a charge of resisting arrest. Clark was arrested by West Penn Township officer Anthony Houser June 19. Clark entered a guilty plea on the charge Feb. 20.

Probation sentence

George J. Bonetsky, 41, Coaldale, will be on probation for 12 months stemming from a defiant trespass arrest by Coaldale police officer James Bonner Feb. 28, 2018. Charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property were dropped.

Intermediate punishment

Susan Patricia Jones, 53, New Ringgold, was sentenced to intermediate punishment on a charge of DUI/Highest rate. Jones was arrested March 2, 2018, by Pennsylvania State trooper Justin Bedford, Schuylkill Haven. Jones will be on house arrest with electronic surveillance for 15 days, followed by 45 days strict supervision, followed by four months on probation. She must also pay a fine of $1,000, plus $300 to the substance abuse education fund, and pay associated costs including $520 to Lehigh Valley Health Network South.

James A. Cieniawa, 59, McAdoo, was arrested by McAdoo police officer William Curilla on Feb. 2, 2018, on a charge of DUI/highest rate. He will serve 10 days in Schuylkill County Prison with work release, followed by five months and 20 days of intermediate punishment, including 40 days on house arrest with electronic surveillance, 40 days strict supervision, followed by three months on probation. Cieniawa must pay a fine of $750 plus $100 to the substance abuse education fund, and pay associated costs including $120 to Lehigh Valley Health Network South.

Bench warrant hearings

Marquise M. Vargas, 23, Tamaqua, was arrested for retail theft Feb. 15, 2017, by Rush Township officer Oldt. Bail was reinstated for Vargas Feb. 22 with the conditions that he not relocate, obtain employment within 30 days, and not possess or use alcohol or illegal substance.

Joseph D. Chambers, 26, Lansford, was arrested Nov. 24, 2018, by Tamaqua police office Jeremy Sborz and charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured with the condition that he not relocate, not possess or use alcohol or illegal substances, and seek employment within 30 days.

Angel V. Maldonado, 29, Tamaqua, was arrested by Tamaqua police officer Michael Weaver on March 13, 2018, and charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked. On Feb. 21, bail was set at $5,000 unsecured with the conditions that he not relocate, not possess or use alcohol or controlled substances, and attend a status conference March 13.

Ashley D. Baldini, 33, Lansford, was arrested by Tamaqua police officer Douglas Springer on Nov. 23, 2017, and charged with DUI, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving. On Feb. 21, bail was reinstated with the conditions that Baldini not relocate, not possess or use alcohol or illegal substances, seek employment within 30 days and attend a status conference March 13.
