Schuylkill County Court

On March 6 Schuylkill County Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin placed the following defendants on probation. Each must pay $50 to CJEA and a $50 a month supervision fee:

Kyle Charles Kaminsky, 66, Tamaqua, was arrested June 15, 2018, by Tamaqua Police Department officer Thomas Rogers and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kaminsky was placed on probation for 12 months for possession of a controlled substance and six months for possession of drug paraphernalia, to run consecutively. He must pay $100 to the substance abuse education fund.

Dwayne Anthony Williams, 28, Tamaqua, was arrested June 9, 2018 by McAdoo Police Department officer Steven Torres and charged with aggravated assault, institutional vandalism educational facility, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness. Williams will be on probation for 12 months on the institutional vandalism charge, plus 12 months for resisting arrest and 12 months disorderly conduct.

The resisting arrest and disorderly conduct probation sentences are concurrent, but consecutive to the institutional vandalism probation, for a total probation time of 24 months. The aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness charges were dropped.

David R. Green, 66, Tamaqua, was arrested June 15, 2018, by Tamaqua Police Department officer Thomas Rodgers and charged with possessing the instrument of a crime, theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and loitering and prowling at nighttime.

Green was placed on probation for three years on the possessing the instrument of a crime charge. The other charges were dropped.

Savanah P. Searfoss, 21, Frackville, was arrested by Rush Township Police Department officer Michael Weaver and charged with possession of a controlled substance, and use/possession of a controlled substance.

Searfoss was placed on probation for one year on each charge, to run consecutively. She must also pay $100 to the substance abuse education fund and $113 to the Harrisburg Crime Lab.

Amos D. Johnson, 45, Tamaqua, was arrested by Tamaqua Police Department officer Michael Hobbs on March 3, 2018, and charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and two counts of retail theft.

Johnson was placed on probation for 12 months on each of the retail theft charges, to run concurrently. The theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property charges were dropped.
