A Lansford man charged with theft and receiving stolen property was accepted into the ARD program, in a ruling by Judge John E. Domalakes June 27.
Joseph D. Chambers, 28, Lansford, was arrested by Tamaqua Police officer Jeremy Sborz on Nov. 24, 2018. Chambers must pay $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, $50 a month supervision fee, $50 bench warrant fee and $350 to the country to defray the cost of the ARD program. He must also serve 10 hours community service.
In another ruling by Domalakes on June 27, Ashley M. Sist, 33, Trescow, was sentenced to time served to 23 months; since she had already served the minimum sentence she was immediately paroled. The receiving stolen property charge was dropped. Sist must pay $50 to the CJEA.
