An Allentown man arrested by Coaldale Police for criminal trespass will spend 9 to 24 months in state prison, in a decision by President Judge William E. Baldwin on Jan. 7.

Joseph A. Pellegrino, 53, was arrested by Coaldale Police on June 6, 2019; he’d also been arrested for criminal trespass by Coaldale Police on April 8. Pellegrino was sentenced in December for one to two years for the April arrest. The sentence for the June arrest is consecutive to that sentence.

Pellegrino was also arrested by Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville on Sept. 16 and charged with receiving stolen property. Baldwin added 21 to 42 months, to be served consecutive to the other sentences. He must pay $1,100 in fines and costs.

Defendants arrested by West Penn Township and Coaldale police were sentenced in rulings by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin on Jan. 9:

Anthony Joseph Morgan, 30, Allentown was arrested by West Penn Township Police on Sept. 7, 2018, charged with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer. He was sentenced to seven to 24 months in state prison and must pay $750 in fines and costs. West Penn Township Police also arrested him June 6 for terroristic threats. Morgan’s sentence on that charge is three to 24 months, concurrent to the other sentence, plus $100 in fines and costs.

Dennis L. Nedley Jr., 37, Allentown was arrested by Coaldale Police on May 23 and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to three to 23 months in county prison, plus $400 in fines and costs. He will be on probation for 12 months.

Jesse Bryan Roth, 28, Lansford, was arrested by Coaldale Police on May 27 and charged with criminal trespass. He was sentenced to six to 23 months and must pay $350 in fines and costs.
