The integral role of Schuylkill County’s 48th Infantry Regiment in the Battle of the Crater is the subject of a program by Schuylkill County Historical Society board member Dave Williams at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the society’s headquarters, 305 N. Centre St., Pottsville.
