Schuylkill County personnel actions

Schuylkill County commissioners and the county salary board last week accepted a number of personnel actions.

• Tira Rice, Ashland, and Danbrielle Schoener, Pottsville, were hired as caseworkers for the Children and Youth Services Agency at $17.44 per hour each.

• Melissa Goodman, Frackville, transferred from clerk typist II in the treasurer’s office to interim clerk typist I in the Tax Assessment office.

• Michael Tomko, Frackville, resigned his position as Adult Probation officer.

• Joseph Pothering, Branch Township, was hired as a deputy coroner/investigator in the coroner’s office. He’ll be paid on a fee schedule.

• Michelle Lurwick, Pottsville, retired from her position as a judicial secretary/accountant.

• Amanda Brault, Tamaqua, was hired as an interim judicial secretary/accountant at $18.28 per hour.

• Kendy Juarez, Shenandoah, and Joshua Dziczek, Frackville, were granted unpaid internships in the public defender’s office.

• Joseph Yesavage, Tamaqua, resigned from his position as a security guard in the sheriff’s office.

• Debora Digiglio, Tamaqua, transferred from her position as an interim clerk typist II to clerk typist I in the treasurer’s office.
