State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two crashes investigated by troopers over the past weekend.
• A crash occurred at 3:15 p.m. Friday along River Street in North Manheim Township. Justin K. Charkaway, 25, of Cressona, was driving a 2001 Jeep Cherokee southbound and negotiating a right curve when he said the sun got in his eyes. His Jeep entered the northbound lane and struck a 2015 Buick Encore driven by Anna N. Lukacz, 80, of Pottsville. The front driver’s side of the Jeep struck the back driver’s side of the Buick.
No one was injured. Troopers cited Charkaway for the crash.

Vigoda, 19, of Port Carbon, was driving a 2013 Buick Verano eastbound while Rachel M. Foose, 34, of Pottsville, was driving a 2014 Subaru Impreza westbound. Trooper said Vigoda fell asleep at the wheel with his vehicle traveling into the westbound lane and striking the Subaru head-on.
Foose and passengers Suzanne M. Mont, 65, of Pottsville, and two girls, ages 2 and 5, were injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville, with suspected minor injuries. Vigoda was not injured.
Both vehicles had to be towed.
